According to a study, 45% of American teleworkers regularly work from a couch, 38% regularly work from bed and 20% often work outside.

Major reason: Most remote workers live in shared spaces with roommates or family members. Half of the respondents cite the pain and discomfort of working from home as a reason to return to the office.
