Oceana released a report on the amount of waste Amazon generates each year. It is super mind-boggling!
Here's the report: Link.
Just some excerpts which were really painful to read:
1. Just the "air pillows" used for packaging would circle the Earth more than 500 times
2. A total of 465 million pounds of plastic packaging waste just last year
Amazon anyway pays very little corporate tax, pays their logistics employees quite poorly and is such a major polluter. Quite tough to respect such a company.
