Flujo - Communication & Collaboration Suite for Teams

We've been discussing Slack & Zoom over the past couple of weeks on Remote Clan and coincidentally, we had a new tool posted on Remote Tools that aims to compete with the likes of MS Teams & Slack.

Flujo aims to provide a singular space for your team to reliably communicate & collaborate. I was talking to Akshay and he mentioned that they are still at an early stage in terms of product and are looking for feedback.

So I created a quick video to share my initial thoughts. Would also love to hear what others have to say!

Here's what our users had to say:

  • Hrishikesh Pardeshi said "@akshaybadiger-503: A few follow-up questions for you - 1. I couldn't find content on the website or your blog that explains the vision behind Flujo. Would love if you could share it here. 2. Also, curious to know the story behind the product & the team as well as what's next to come. Amazing work on Flujo! Congrats 👏"

  • Akshay Badiger said "Thanks a ton for doing this, it means a lot :)   I've made a note of the points you've mentioned in your previous email and also in the video review as well. Will post our journey and vision in the form of a post real soon. Here's an article that comes closest to what you pointed out, we've been working on Why Flujo page which will also go live real soon. To be honest, we've been extra cautious in our communication as to not invoke a feeling in the minds of visitors of switching to Flujo from an existing tool like Slack as we need to gather a lot of feedback on our existing features before we make a promise of supporting migration from other tools.    We'll be soon making our roadmap public, but in the meantime, I'd be more than happy to give you or anyone from the Clan a quick tour of what's cooking in our dev environments and the feature roadmap. The next big thing in terms of our offerings will Topics, which will replace the existing Handshake tab which was meant to act as a bridge between two closely working organizations. "Topics" is primarily meant to address a popular problem that a lot of Slack users including you have written about — Distractions that instant messages bring. Topics will primarily serve as discussion boards where there'll no added pressure of replying to a message and losing out on information. We're aiming to bring this to life by early October. Curious to see what others members feel about this!"
