        Amazing Rumana.

I built this community in mid-2020 & in the process learnt Tailwind. There's of course been a lot of learning around community building too.

Hoping to learn many more things in 2021 :)

        Personal Win

I have a hard time making difficult decisions, I made one this year when I decided to call quits on my life in the US and come back to India. It wasn't easy, but it was quite a simple decision!ย

I know 2020 wasn't a great year for everyone, but lets's hope 2021 is a year of transformation and we all keep moving up in life!ย

Congrats Akash. Is this also your first dev role?

            1. 2

Thank you. Yes ๐Ÿ˜€, completed under graduation in computer science this year in 2020. I was learning/building/freelancing while in college though for about 2 years.

Wonderful. You are among the lucky few to experience remote working in your very first job :)

                1. 1

Thanks for this great thread, Hrishikesh

As a digital nomad, 2020 was quite frustrating since I was bound to a particular location. However, the rise of remote work and the announcements of new remote work programs excites me even more.

This has been a great year for me personally. I have been able to bag some big-name clients in the last few months. Look forward to seeing what the future holds for 2021.

Amazing Krasniqi, more power to you.

My biggest win this year was launching, collaboration platform for organizations and teams.

My team and I worked so hard through the lockdown to make that happen and we were successful.

Now we are working hard to make Fexspace a collaboration platform for everyone. Anticipate Fexspace in 2021.

              Thank you guys.

That's great. You're surely going to have a lot of requests coming in through 2021.

              2. 3

One of my biggest wins this year is wanting to work a remote position that I really enjoyed. I've been working full time in a contract position as a Contact Tracer helping to make a difference in this Pandemic that we've been dealing with this year for the last 9 months.ย
ย I love working remotely, and will be looking for a permanent, new remote position in 2021.ย

                1. 1

That's really great Susan. What did you enjoy the most about remote working?

                2. 2

So many great things happened this year, but I'm especially proud of the big virtual events our team organized ๐ŸŽ‰

Remote Career Success Week with 1000+ registered attendees

Countless remote work experts came together to share the advice people need to thrive in 2020 ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm so grateful to everyone who shared their knowledge, and excited for more learning and growth in the remote work world in 2021!
