I've worked independently as a life coach since 1986, online since 1999. I work remotely and also have a co-working space that I pay to have access to 24/7 when needed. Right now I'm building a remote company called HabitHelpdesk.com, productivity coaching by text to make your intentions stick. I also teach a 'micro' method for making online courses (https://makeacourse.co) where people show up on Zoom with an idea or no idea and make a course in a weekend.
I started working on my side hustle back in late 2006. 2007 I tried my first remote hiring for freelance design job. From there, I kept on hiring remote talents for all kinds of work. Programming, writing, marketing, design, and anything else. I quit my day job, and have been working from home on my own projects since 2009, over 10 years now.
I'm working for a remote-first company. We used to have the freedom of working from home or office as we chose. But with changes in the recent Pandemic we shifted to 100% remote work. It has its own pros and cons.
