Remote Work Experience
I've worked remotely entirely since covid, and have now left to pursue a series of bets as I chase a company of one life style.
I think these are 3 important parts to being successful as a remote worker
Preparation - I have spent time to ensure I have the freedom to pursue this properly. That means you must analyse your incomings and outgoings and think how you can optimise them. But you also need to think about your profile, your target users, the challenge you will commit to helping and what your mission is. Life balance - if you are trying to escape, you will not suddenly solve your problems with remote work. Work is (and should be much less) only a part of your life. Control your life balance and make it represent who you want to be. Small efforts - success is the sum of. Just keep going. Focus on work, not distractions. Optimise for your focus.
Here's how I plan to contribute to The Remote Clan
My mission is to help us regain our time. Mindfulness of how we spend time will help dramatically. Also, I have technical skills as a developer but also a product owner, and am very good at building and creating things. Let's chat!
Here's what I want to gain from The Remote Clan
Support. Remote can be lonely if you know few others who also have dived into this life.
These are the 2 best topics to start off a conversation with me
Why on earth I have recorded every hour of the last three years in a spreadsheet! Anything you are creating - you have me hooked already.
