Remote Work Experience
I was remote for 6 months or so while working at Uber. It didn't go too well, given that the company is far from remote first.
I think these are 3 important parts to being successful as a remote worker
Communication, communication, communication :) And obviously, a lot of the things that you get for free when you're co-located (serendipitous encounters, easy social exchanges with no agendaβ¦) are out when you're remote, so you have to be deliberate in creating them.
