Remote Work Experience
I am a productivity trainer helping people to be more efficient and effective with their time, energy, systems and specifically MS Office tools. I've worked from a home office myself for 25 years and supported remote workers for 10 years. During Covid I started a pilot program to support dispersed teams and people newly working from home. I created a virtual coworking platform called Focus Bubbles and it started to take off, so I have launched it as a new business.
I think these are 3 important parts to being successful as a remote worker
1. Virtual coworking to stay connected with people. 2. Strong internet and a great zoom studio set up (good camera, mic, green screen etc..). 3. Clarity of vision about what I want to accomplish in my business. 4, Tools to support productivity.
Here's how I plan to contribute to The Remote Clan
I am excited to share any insight and expertise from working with thousands of clients, helping with personal productivity or group facilitation.
Here's what I want to gain from The Remote Clan
Awareness of the challenges of remote workers. Learning about new tools and tech.
These are the 2 best topics to start off a conversation with me
I love hearing about the individual challenges of working from home or any remote setting. What are the sources of frustration and joy in working on your own? I am also happy to talk about great business books.
