Remote Work Experience
Yes, I designed apps for the largest food and literature festivals in Indonesia. Advised a Saudi Arabian Ed Tech start-up on its digital content strategy. And of course, have been working from home for my current employer - Flipkart for the last three months.
I think these are 3 important parts to being successful as a remote worker
1) Stick to a routine 2) Communicate Communicate Communicate 3) Separate the personal from the professional
My Remote Tools Stack
Used Trello earlier for project flow, Slack is effective for communication, Zoom / Hangouts for Meetings, Google Docs for collaborations
Here's how I plan to contribute to The Remote Clan
Share my experiences and perspectives of working remotely, spread the word to my other remote friends so that the tribe grows
Here's what I want to gain from The Remote Clan
Learn to be a more effective remote worker, meet new like-minded people, read about other people's experiences of working remotely
These are the 2 best topics to start off a conversation with me
All Things Books, The Office.
