Remote Work Experience
I am a HR professional. Before Pandemic, I believed that all HR work is best done in person :-) But last year has broken that myth. From what we have been able to achieve as a fraternity, I feel everything that HR does can be done remotely.
I think these are 3 important parts to being successful as a remote worker
What has worked for me is 1. Breaking my day into 3-4 clusters. 2. Devoting some time everyday catching up with my team and stakeholders so that I don't feel isolated or disconnected. 3. Embracing async communication practices.
Here's how I plan to contribute to The Remote Clan
My organization has always been remote-friendly and we are now looking to make a transition to becoming Remote-First. Will be glad to share my learning as we go thru the process. Over last year, my team and me have done lot of online research on 'Remote work' . Happy to share these resources to anyone who might find it useful.
Here's what I want to gain from The Remote Clan
Learning from HR professional, remote thought leaders as well as remote workers on what works for them and what doesnt.
These are the 2 best topics to start off a conversation with me
1. Productivity hacks for remote workers. 2. Role of HR in shaping future of work
